Simon Dowson is a British engineer, born in the northern English city of Newcastle Upon Tyne. He attended University in Yorkshire and earned a degree in Electrical Engineering. Before moving to the United States, Simon worked in London and the South of England. For the past 30 years, he’s lived in New England.
He wanted to share his story, not in a wholly prurient way, but balanced with psychological reflections and philosophical musings. The arc of his story is one shared by many people, regardless of race or class or creed. It’s a path to wholeness and a journey to connectedness to others. Through these shared experiences, Simon hopes we can gain insight into our humanity and be more aware of the needs of others.
In the end, he gave his all. He wants to be remembered not for what he was or what he did, but for his intentions. He may not be perfect, but at least he tried to make the world a better place than he found it.
